EULA - End User License Agreement

END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT
FOR CAPTAINSLOG 2000(TM) SOFTWARE

A Product of Juland Technologies, Inc.

IMPORTANT - READ CAREFULLY:

This End-User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you (either an individual or a single entity) and Juland Technologies, Inc. for the software product identified above, which includes computer software and may include associated media, printed materials, and "online" or electronic documentation ("SOFTWARE PRODUCT"). The SOFTWARE PRODUCT also includes any updates and supplements to the original SOFTWARE PRODUCT provided to you by Juland Technologies, Inc. By installing, copying, downloading, accessing or otherwise using the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA. If you do not agree to the terms of this EULA, do not install or use the SOFTWARE PRODUCT. Before using or installing the above SOFTWARE PRODUCT make sure you have read and completely understand the entire License Agreement.

SOFTWARE PRODUCT LICENSE

The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is protected by copyright laws and international copyright treaties, as well as other intellectual property laws and treaties. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is licensed, not sold.

WARRANTY

This SOFTWARE PRODUCT is available to you on a Free Trial basis and is not warranted by Juland Technologies, Inc. in any way. Juland Technologies, Inc. does not guarantee the the reliable performance of this SOFTWARE PRODUCT and you (the End User) assume all responsibility for any undesirable results from its installation or use. As part of the Free Trial period, you are also responsible for completely testing the performance and accuracy of this SOFTWARE PRODUCT prior to registering it. Juland Technologies, Inc. will not be held liable for any damaging results of installing or using this SOFTWARE PRODUCT, wheter it be disruption of hardware, other software or any other undesirable results you encounter by using the SOFTWARE PRODUCT. If you do not agree to assume full responsibility for the results of installing or using this SOFTWARE PRODUCT then do not install it!

COPYRIGHT

All title and copyrights in and to the SOFTWARE PRODUCT (including but not limited to any images, photographs, animations, video, audio, music, text, and code incorporated into the SOFTWARE PRODUCT), the accompanying printed materials, and any copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT are owned by Juland Technologies, Inc. All title and intellectual property rights in and to the content which may be accessed through use of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT is the property of the respective content owner and may be protected by applicable copyright or other intellectual property laws and treaties. This EULA grants you no rights to use such content. If this SOFTWARE PRODUCT contains documentation which is provided only in electronic form, you may print one copy of such electronic documentation. You may not copy any printed materials accompanying the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.

SOFTWARE PRODUCT REGISTRATION

You may evaluate this SOFTWARE PRODUCT as a Free Trial for as long as you like to determine if it performs acceptably for your hardware and application requirements. Once you have tested the software completely and agree that its performance is acceptable in every way, you may register the SOFTWARE PRODUCT in accordance with the instructions provided to you in the program itself. Registration of this SOFTWARE PRODUCT does not change the previously expressed warranty information in any way. The full limit of any liability against Juland Technologies, Inc. will be the refund of the registration paid.

USE AND INSTALLATION

This software will default to an unregistered version each time it is installed. Any number of people may use and install the unregistered version on an unlimited number of computers or workstations. Once a specific installation of this software is registered, only the person who registered that installation may continue to use it. A registered user may install and register the SOFTWARE PRODUCT on any machine as long as that person is the only person who uses the SOFTWARE PRODUCT. Organizations wishing to register site licenses must do so in accordance with site licensing rules available upon request. A site license only allows the use of the registered SOFTWARE PRODUCT by the specific individuals named in the site license obtained.

COPYING AND DISTRIBUTION

The SOFTWARE PRODUCT and all included files and documentation is copyrighted and may not be broken apart, altered or changed in any way. In its original form, the unregistered SOFTWARE PRODUCT as a whole may be re-distributed without the expressed permission of Juland Technologies, Inc. provided that this re-distribution does not involve any kind of payment or fee. A registered installation of this software may not be copied or redistributed in any way.
